Habits are hard to break, but they’re also difficult to form. It can take weeks or months to begin doing something routinely – probably even longer if you have to break a previous habit to start a new one. The length and process of changing our routines can be intimidating, causing us to not want to do anything differently than what we already know.
Though, some habits we have need to be broken for something better, healthier to form in its place. Break the pattern today or the cycle will repeat tomorrow. It’s going to be hard, but if there are goals you want to achieve but something’s holding you back, the only way you’re going to be able to go after it is if you begin making moves to actually make it a reality.
